GenderSphere partnered with a development accelerator to embed gender-responsive practices within its initiative supporting grassroots partners. This began with foundational dialogues with seven partner organizations to understand their context, approaches, and existing gender integration efforts.
We co-designed and facilitated partner-wide gender dialogues to build a shared understanding of gender and introduced a tailored gender self-assessment framework for partners. This framework served as a diagnostic and strategic planning tool to help partners articulate their current capacities and identify future action areas.
Additionally, we engaged with the NGO’s internal team to co-facilitate a gender orientation workshop, and advised on integrating gender-responsive outcomes into the project’s Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) framework. These efforts laid the foundation for sustained gender integration across the foundation’s ecosystem and paved the way for deeper engagements in future project phases.
