The Gender Dialogues curated by Gender at Work Consulting brought cutting-edge knowledge to engage participants in collective reflection and critical analysis, interrogating the mental models of “gender equality” in the context of the organization’s work in India.
Each dialogue session brought in a leading gender equality expert for a one-hour session, followed by a 30- to 45-minute reflection session. These were “provocation” sessions aimed at triggering conversations on the strategic priorities of the organization and, ultimately, soliciting specific actions from the Senior Management Team. The purpose was to stimulate new ideas and conversations within an atmosphere of curiosity and earnest engagement.
They also provided safe spaces for the Senior Management Team in India to reflect and challenge the unstated assumptions and value frameworks that underlay the gender equality work undertaken by the organization.
