Expanding Decent Employment Opportunities in the Care Economy in India – Documenting Promising Care Policies and Measures for Accelerating Women’s Participation and Leadership in Enterprises in India
The primary objective of the study is to enhance the capacity of enterprises in India to advocate for family-friendly care policies and measures that contribute to improved productivity and gender equality. The research will actively identify enterprises and document initiatives, including policies and measures, undertaken by organizations and their members to promote work-life balance and address unpaid care challenges.
Understanding that the concept of “care” can be nuanced and challenging to define, we value the diverse perspectives and experiences of organizations in this regard. To this end, the team at GWCL has crafted a survey aimed at capturing valuable insights from various stakeholders.
