GenderSphere recently held a retreat for the Girls Not Brides team to strengthen team dynamics and enhance strategic alignment in a virtual/hybrid working environment. The retreat focused on fostering a cohesive and supportive team culture, promoting well-being through mindfulness exercises, and creating a safe space for open communication. Through facilitated discussions and reflections, team members explored their working styles, identified strengths and challenges in leadership and communication, and shared experiences of navigating remote collaboration. The retreat also aimed to develop actionable strategies to improve communication, enhance teamwork, and establish stronger support mechanisms, ensuring the team remains aligned and effective in their mission to end child marriage.
