1 Training on Business, Gender Equality, and Women’s Rights
GenderSphere conducted the “Training on Business, Gender Equality, and Women’s Rights” workshop for UNDP. It aimed to equip participants with a gender lens approach to business and human rights (BHR). The session introduced tools and frameworks to analyze the impact of various industries on women, fostering skills to identify and interpret business operations on women’s rights. Participants engaged in critical discussions on biases and stereotypes that drive gender-based discrimination, deepening their understanding of gender dynamics in the workplace. The training also focused on creating an inclusive work environment by promoting gender-sensitive language and behavior, unpacking unconscious biases, and developing strategies to ensure a safe and equitable workspace for all.
2 Training on Business Action to Promote LGBTI Rights
Gendersphere, in collaboration with UNDP, conducted the Training on Business Action to Promote LGBTI Rights to enhance the business community’s understanding of the intersections between LGBTI rights and the corporate world. The workshop combined theory with practical guidance, equipping companies with the skills and strategies needed to align their policies with international standards. It aimed to raise awareness, promote inclusive workplace policies, and foster open discussions on challenges and solutions related to LGBTI inclusion. Additionally, the training provided actionable strategies for integrating LGBTI rights into business practices, ensuring a more equitable and inclusive work environment.
